Starting with December 2001, "Alexandra" Restaurant became "Alexandra" Boarding House by including new accommodation facility in the tourism circuit. Equipped at 3 stars level, "Alexandra" Boarding House is situated in the center of Poiana Brasov resort, in the neighbourhood of "Alpin" Hotel. The 25 double rooms and the 4 apartments offer a particular comfort for any occasions: week-ends in the mountains, full holidays or business travels. The excellent service, the quality and the attention of the personnel towards every guest provide a great style and ambiance. The rooms are outfitted with modern equipment, applied to a typically mountain style, that will fully satisfy all expectations.
In 2003, the company accessed a financial grant from the European Union, through the Phare Program - Social and Economic Cohesion. After the investments that focused on extending the capacity and raising the comfort, the Ministry of Tourism changed the category for Alexandra Boarding House to "Three Stars Villa"
